“The Quest”

           To Begin on Wed January 9th
           From 6:00 PM to 7:00PM
 

When Michelangelo was asked how he could carve his magnificent David out of a shapeless block of marble, he replied that David had always been in the stone.  A sculptor merely had to remove what was not David.

The Quest journey is not designed to “teach” you anything.  Rather, it will help you to remove all that is not the real you.  It will help the divine part of you to emerge, just as the statue, imprisoned in the marble for so long, was finally allowed to emerge. 

Do you have a longing in your heart to know God?  The Quest is a process of remembering the truths that have been hidden in the ancient forests of your mind.  It is the next step in the evolution of your soul, which spirals ever upward in the rediscovery of its spiritual self.  It is a journey which can transform your life far beyond any good that you can now envision!

During the summer months we will have the opportunity to come together in community, feeding our bodies, minds, and souls. There will be themes for each month creating interesting topics.     Bring a big appetite for Truth and your favorite potluck dish to share.

The theme for the month of June is: “Trusting the Process of Change”                                                                        
On June 20th   we will be discussing: The Stages of Change; Overcoming Fear of Change; Endings and Losses;   The Void; Finding Ourselves in the Void; and New Beginnings.

The theme for the month of July is:  “Knowing the Truth about Healing”

On July 18th we will be discussing:  The Truth about  Healing; The Truth About Our Bodies; The Truth About Prayer; The Truth About Forgiveness; The Truth About Love; The Truth About Faith; The Truth About Joy.

The theme for the month of August is:  “Living an Abundant Life”

On August 15th we will be discussing:  God As Source; The Power of Choice; Giving and Receiving; Power of the Word; The Power of Visualization; Trusting in God’s Supply; Celebrating Our Abundance.

The theme for the month of September is: “Creating a Life of Prayer”

On September 19th we will be discussing:  Circle of Prayer; Believing; Affirming; Surrendering; Receiving; Thanksgiving; Living Our Prayers.
